Pulling from pop-culture, media nostalgia and the artists' own autobiographical lore, Pre-Submission builds a speculative narrative in which Mely and an*'s likeness is used as part of a diversification program to create a force of AI border guards that represent everyone’s unique identity.
In a collage of loosely linked sketches, they reproduce, critique, and deconstruct their own personal complicity, and the ridicule, intimate and sensual ways consent is fabricated in this production of exclusion.
