Event at the BND Visitor Center
To mark its 70th anniversary, the BND is inviting interested members of the public to a birthday event at its visitor center at Chausseestraße 99a in Berlin on April 1, 2026.

No, this is not an April Fool’s joke. The BND is turning 70, and that calls for a celebration.
To mark this special occasion, there will be a diverse program focusing on the mission, work, and history of Germany’s foreign intelligence service. We will also offer insights into the work of the BND that are not usually available: Real BND employees from various departments will give engaging presentations about their work. Afterward, there will be an opportunity for discussion and exchange.
We will also have a career booth on site for anyone interested, where we’ll be happy to advise you on entry-level and career opportunities at the BND.
You’ll also have the chance to see a real operational vehicle up close.
Of course, our interactive exhibition will also be open to visitors. We’ll be offering short tours throughout the day!
