Dribbling, quick passes, and spectacular shots right in the heart of the city: The 2026 3x3 Basketball Series will be stopping at Washingtonplatz near Berlin Central Station on June 20 and 21.

For two days, the square in front of the station will be transformed into a streetball arena where teams will compete against each other in the dynamic 3x3 version of basketball. The sport is now part of the Olympic program and is known for fast-paced play, intense matchups, and a special connection between athletes and the audience.

In addition to the competitions, visitors can look forward to a supporting program featuring music, entertainment, and hands-on activities. Anyone who wants to get active can grab a ball on-site and try out the sport.

A special highlight is the visit by Sonja Greinacher on Saturday. The Olympic champion is one of Germany’s most successful 3x3 players and will be on hand to offer insights into the sport.

The event is free and open to the public, appealing to both basketball fans and those simply curious to experience the unique atmosphere of this urban sport.
