Set between modern architecture and vibrant urban flair, a 600 m² covered ice rink invites visitors to enjoy wintertime skating fun.

Right in the city centre, the new ice rink offers the perfect backdrop for sporting laps on the ice or relaxing moments with mulled wine and friends. Easily accessible and not far from the winter world at Potsdamer Platz, this winter highlight is a must for Berliners and their guests during the Christmas season.

Skating fun in the heart of Berlin

Ice skating fans of all ages can take to the 600 m² rink. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, the atmospheric lighting and the combination of restaurants, shopping and big-city vibes make for a unique experience.

School classes and groups benefit from special morning times on request. The centre also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine: the surrounding restaurants invite you to warm up, snack and enjoy – from hot cocoa to hearty snacks. Tickets are only available digitally – simply book online or on site.

Take advantage of your visit to the ice rink for a winter city break around Potsdamer Platz: the Kulturforum with its art gallery and philharmonic hall are within walking distance, and the Panorama Point at the Kollhoff Tower offers a fantastic view over Berlin at Christmas. For the little ones, a visit to the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Berlin with around five million LEGO® bricks is of course the real highlight.

If you want to go shopping , you'll find everything you need in the Potsdamer Platz Arkaden. At Leipziger Platz, you can continue your shopping spree in the exclusive Mall of Berlin. The German Spy Museum offers a fascinating insight into the history of espionage.

  • Opening hours: Monday to Friday & Sunday 12 noon to 8 p.m., Saturday 12 noon to 10 p.m.
  • Admission is subject to a fee (tickets can be booked digitally, no cash payments possible)

The ice rink is located directly in the centre at Potsdamer Platz. We recommend travelling by public transport.
