The extraordinary young bass-baritone William Socolof and pianist and keyboardist Jacob Greenberg invite you to a spring concert in the idyllic Britz Castle. The afternoon will focus on works by Franz Schubert, Darius Milhaud, Joseph Haydn, Arnold Schoenberg, and Claude Debussy.
About the artists
Jacob Greenberg is recognized worldwide as a pianist and keyboardist, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. As a long-time member of the International Contemporary Ensemble, he has performed throughout America and Europe. In his hometown of Berlin, he runs Close Range, a teaching space with various keyboards for classical and modern repertoire. His concert series Keyboard Play spans several centuries of music history and combines contemporary and anachronistic instruments in a colorful historical dialogue.William Socolof is an award-winning opera bass-baritone and recitalist. He has performed as a soloist with many leading North American orchestras, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, and was the winner of the 2020 YCA Susan Wadsworth International Auditions.
