Bon voyage! Have a good trip! Welcome aboard the "Duo Streich-Holz"! Imagine yourself climbing into a hot air balloon and let the music carry you over diverse landscapes and cultures.
The journey follows no geographical plan, for in your mind, you can travel anywhere in the blink of an eye. You will hear works by Dvořák, Haydn, Wieniawski, and Chopin from the classical repertoire, as well as Klezmer and dances from around the world.
The combination of a string and a woodwind instrument provides the spark for both serious and lighthearted music. The two sisters captivate audiences with sparkling sounds and frame their concerts with charming commentary. They have been making music together since childhood, attended masterclasses together—including those led by Grigoriy Korchmar and Kurt Schwaen—and gave their first public performance together in 2009. Since then, they have continuously developed new programs and perform regularly as a duo.
- Music by Antonín Dvořák, Joseph Haydn, Henryk Wieniawski, Frédéric Chopin, Béla Bartók, Edith Piaf, Jerry Bock and Angel Villoldo
- With: Rebekka Dusdal (violin), Debora Dusdal (clarinet)
