For the first time, these five musicians from Berlin and beyond are coming together to create an exceptionally multifaceted program.
Manuel Zwerger weaves the solo horn into a choreographic concept where sound and movement merge, while Hanna Hartman combines the instrument with field recordings. Michael Quell's trio plays with extended and dissolved time, Clara Ianotta's solo piece for amplified double bass explores the instrument's dark depths, before Stefan Beyer's eponymous quintet brings the evening to a close.
