Jungstötter
Jungstötter is the solo project of Berlin-based songwriter and musician Fabian Altstötter. His soundscape ranges from lyrical tenderness to formal fragmentation. At the center is the voice—as the starting point and axis of a structure built on instrumental experiments. His music combines evolving lyrical compositions with multi-layered sonic textures and quiet, almost whispered moments of unfolding.
Following the breakthrough of his influential band Sizarr, Altstötter released his first two solo albums, *Love Is* (2019) and *One Star* (2023).
With his third album, *Sustained*, released in May, he moves away from the denser sounds of his last two releases toward a unique, unpolished expansiveness that establishes a gentleness in his songs—one that is reduced, restrained, and redirected, yet never collapses in on itself thanks to the strength of his voice and lyrics. It is not about ecological sustainability or musical sustain. It’s about something allegorical: the romantically reckless desire to inhale and exhale at the same time. The album features 11 tracks. A sweeping arc of sound, piano mechanics, extended techniques, and breath—through smoldering harmonicas, interwoven words, and the hum of a note trying to find life.
blurrydog
Blurrydog is the musical alter ego of Chicago-based musician and composer Dylan Sack. His music is often described as bittersweet and invites listeners to immerse themselves in his most intimate and emotional inner world. His classical training in composition is evident in the rich harmonic colors and flowing melodies of his pieces. He blends diverse influences—such as video game music, jazz, and lo-fi—into dreamlike arrangements.
With *Blurry’s World*, his debut album as a singer-songwriter, his first release in this format will be released in the summer of 2026 on the Berlin-based label Unguarded.
