A piano recital reflecting a turning point in history: Darya Dadykina takes the audience on a powerful musical journey through inner and historical upheavals.
From Beethoven's passionate "Tempest" Sonata to Alban Berg's radical intensification and Brahms's "Lullaby of My Sorrows," which preserves the last rays of Romanticism, the program spans a range of intensity and depth. Finally, Maurice Ravel transforms loss and memory into a clear, luminous form—a conclusion that is both moving and liberating.
Born into an artistic family in Kyiv, pianist Darya Dadykina received her training at the renowned Lysenko Music School for Gifted Children and later at the National Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine. Since 2014, she has lived in Berlin, where she completed her master's degree and concert exam with distinction at the Hanns Eisler School of Music. International masterclasses and numerous performances in major European concert halls have shaped her artistic career. As a co-founder of the International Nikolaj Medtner Society, she is also dedicated to preserving and rediscovering exceptional repertoire.
An evening that makes musical breaks audible, captures profound emotions in subtle nuances, and allows the power of the piano to be experienced in all its facets.
