"Good Girl Exit: The End of Female Availability" Book Launch

What if being nice isn't a character trait, but a survival mechanism? In this book, Silvi Carlsson breaks away from the role of the perpetually well-behaved, understanding woman.

In a radical, personal, and political voice, Carlsson writes about people-pleasing, emotional availability, and female socialization.

What happens when women allow themselves not to always be there for others and to take their own needs seriously? She shows how deeply the “good girl” complex affects relationships, careers, and bodies—and what happens when women no longer place men at the center of their thinking.

Silvi Carlsson is a journalist, author, content creator, and cultural critic. On social media, she consistently advocates for feminist and socially critical issues. Personal challenges and dealing with anxiety disorders and depression led her to critically examine social structures, beauty ideals, and her generation’s self-esteem. On Instagram and YouTube, her content reaches around 500,000 people; she is currently studying psychology.
