A dinner to support the Neukölln brunch bar
Top quality isn’t always enough to survive in Berlin’s restaurant scene. Sometimes a restaurant finds itself in financial difficulties, even though its concept – from the service to the cuisine – is impressive and it even has a loyal customer base.

The charming Sfera is now facing a financially challenging situation. But the vegan community is pulling together: the Michelin-starred restaurant Bonvivant, in collaboration with Wanda, is launching a culinary fundraising initiative on 20 October to support Sfera.
The community dinner will not only raise awareness and provide a small financial boost, but will also be a great treat for the guests. Head chef Nikodemus Berger and his team will be spending their free Tuesday evening at the stove at Sfera, treating diners in the Böhmisches Dorf to sophisticated dishes and creative drinks. Marion Klammer from Wanda is equally committed; her cooking style is a perfect match for Berger’s standards, as their two joint pop-ups last year demonstrated. Of course, the Sfera team led by Jana Raabensteinova will also be on hand to ensure the dinner is an unforgettable evening.
A gluten-free and vegan menu will be served family-style. This will be accompanied by sophisticated cocktails from Bonvivant and natural wines from Sfera. For just 89 euros per guest, all courses are included, along with the drinks. Supporters’ tickets can also be booked for 119 euros, which each come with a 40-euro voucher. This involves paying in advance and, as a thank-you, you’ll receive a 10-euro discount on the menu if Sfera can be saved.
The dinner will take place on 20 October at 6.30 pm at Sfera: Schudomastraße 44, 12055 Berlin. Tickets are available HERE. The ticket includes food and drinks for the entire evening.
About Bonvivant
Bonvivant is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 6.00 pm and for brunch Fridays to Sundays from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm. The restaurant has 34 seats; the bar can seat ten people and the high tables 16, whilst the lounge area can accommodate 20 guests. There is also an outdoor terrace with 56 seats. For special events and larger dinner parties, an additional room with a large, round wooden table and the new Studio 32 are available.
