Once a month, radio3 (rbb) invites you to come listen to music and discover new sounds together—right in the heart of Berlin, beneath the S-Bahn arches on Friedrichstraße. Above, the trains rattle by; below, you’ll find exquisite drinks and extraordinary recordings in an intimate atmosphere with brilliant sound.

For the final episode before the summer break, radio3 host Florian Rumberg has invited jazz singer Erik Leuthäuser to the Bredouille Bar. He is one of the most exciting newcomers on the German jazz scene. In his songs, he blends contemporary jazz with elements of avant-garde pop and electronic music. His vocals move effortlessly between virtuoso improvisation and narrative clarity.
In the radio3 Listening Lounge, Erik Leuthäuser presents recordings that have personally moved him, shaped him, and inspired him, or that he particularly enjoys listening to at the moment. In between, there is selected music from his own albums as well as recordings from the radio3 music program.
