To mark the 100th anniversary of Rainer Maria Rilke's death, the Centre Bagatelle cultural center invites you to a special cultural event: The PianoPoetinnen will combine Rilke's poetry with live improvisational piano music, creating an atmosphere in which his words can be experienced anew.

The musical improvisations respond directly to the images, moods, and questions in Rilke's poems. His nature motifs, subtle melancholy, and existential thoughts unfold in an intense interplay of music and poetry. The audience will experience a journey that leads from the world of things to inner understanding.
