Ludwig van Beethoven's Coriolan Overture and Mendelssohn Bartholdy's ‘Lobgesang’ (Symphonic Cantata No. 2, Op. 52) are on the programme for this joint concert with the Berlin Symphony Choir.

The work „Lobgesang“ celebrates God's guidance, enlightenment, and redemption, uniting gratitude, faith, and hope in a powerful hymn to divine light and the liberating effect of knowledge and trust.

In the context of the "Lobgesang," the "weapons of light" represent the spiritual means by which humanity overcomes darkness: God's word, inner renewal, and clear insight. They call for an awakened consciousness and moral strength.
