On Pentecost, Christians celebrate the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is said to bring about understanding and harmony across all language barriers.

It is no wonder that over the course of thousands of years, the most beautiful and profound sacred texts have been composed for this feast. sirventes berlin performs them as a Gregorian chant and in a virtuosic, lively motet by William Byrd.
