After travelling a long way, she stops to take a sip of water – only to realise that her bottle is empty! She sets off in search of water. Her journey takes her from the magical discovery of the very first drop of water to an exploration of the infinite sounds and forms that water can take.

The sounds of water give rise to a whole symphony of experiences that resonate deeply within the senses. The gentle patter of rain on the skin, the dancing of the waves, the shapes that water takes on – all of this arouses curiosity and wonder. Together with the protagonist, the audience is taken on a journey of discovery featuring shadow plays and the experience of water as music.

The piece invites young audience members to discover the sensory joy of playing with a material that offers countless auditory, visual and tactile possibilities – the shape of water trickling through a sieve, the sensation of a splash of water on the face, the enchanting sound of a single drop.
