Guided tour with Erika L. Preiße, former castle director

The Tobacco Society of Frederick William I, the Prussian "Soldier King", is one of the most striking contributions to courtly conviviality in the first decades of the Enlightenment century.

Following in the footsteps of his father's tobacco societies and yet in a completely different way, he organized a contemporary modern communication forum at Königs Wusterhausen Palace with smoking tobacco and beer, both a remedy and a stimulant.

  • Thematic tour with the former castle director, Erika L. Preiße.
