Jacques Brel Evening at Zimt & Zucker

Julian Bender, together with Gerhard Schewe, will celebrate the Berlin premiere of his new Brel evening.

Jacques Brel never passed judgment; he simply observed—people who love, fail, and dream, as well as the humor and tragedy that accompany us every day.

With voice and accordion, Bender and Schiewe bring his characters back to life—the dreamer, the mocker, the one who realizes too late—in an evening that moves between tenderness and anger, between melancholy and new beginnings, an evening about us.
