Interplay is a dialogue between music (Aaron Hill, saxophonist) and visual arts (Angela Grammatas, painter). Our performances are fully improvised; we work in concert, allowing the music and visual elements to influence each other’s direction in real-time. The process begins with a blank paper and evolves into a finished work over the course of the improvisation.
