Midori Hirano / Yoko Konishi / Tomoko Sauvage / Miki Yui / Radio Hito
Radio Hito will perform tracks from their recently released album live, and Midori Hirano will present her new work “Otonoma,” which was recently released as a solo album.
Critics celebrate Midori Hirano’s boundary-pushing works, in which a delicate sense of harmony—rooted in classical piano training—blends with the unrestrained sonic spectra of modular synthesizers. The result is compositions that are as delicate as they are dense and emotionally charged, captivating listeners with the warmth of analog sounds and digital sophistication.
Tomoko Savage’s minimalist set of resonating water bowls functions like a natural synthesizer, with which she shapes tranquil, nuanced soundscapes.
Miki Yui’s new quadraphonic work uses synthesizers, samplers, and field recordings to develop delicate sound textures, an aesthetic that is also reflected in Yoko Konishi’s electronic live performance.
