To mark the 25th anniversary of Wolfgang Peuker’s death, the Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank Foundation is presenting the exhibition “Klasse in Weißensee! Wolfgang Peuker and His Students.” Peuker was a leading artist of the Leipzig School who critically analyzed contemporary events in his paintings. As a professor at the “weißensee kunsthochschule berlin,” he shaped subsequent generations of artists. The exhibition honors the artistic legacy of this masterful painter and introduces four of his most renowned students: Stefanie Hillich, Sibylle Prange, Philipp Schack, and Christian Thoelke.

The guided tour is included in the admission price (5 euros, reduced rate 3 euros).
