"Fuckgirl – I Can Fix It" – Reading & Discussion with Bianca Jankovska & Lea-Liane Winkler

Fuckgirl leads a self-determined life as an artist in a non-monogamous marriage. She knows her dignity, her wounds, her worth, and her willingness to suffer. Yet she repeatedly comes up against the limits of the system. She encounters liars, manipulators, opportunists, and performative feminists, and realizes: In a patriarchal society, ending up with the wrong man is about as hard as stepping out the door in the morning.

That evening, Bianca Jankovska will present her novel for the first time in a special musical reading.

Using her voice and a bass, she adds a sonic dimension to the text. The author will speak with Lea-Liane Winkler about heteronormative relationship patterns, female solidarity, and sexuality, as well as her uncompromising protagonist, who refuses to be silenced in the face of pain.

Bianca Jankovska knew as early as age 13 that she wanted to write—and she’s stuck with it. Her writing blends essayistic reflection with literary storytelling, guiding readers into intimate realms ranging from family, relationships, and sexuality to trauma. In 2018, she published her first book, *Das Millennial-Manifest*, followed in 2020 by *Dear Girlboss, we are done*. In 2024, *Potenziell furchtbare Tage* was published by Haymon Verlag. *Fuckgirl* is Bianca Jankovska’s debut novel.

Lea-Liane Winkler was born, raised, and currently lives in Berlin. As a curator and host of readings, she has appeared at venues such as the Brotfabrik, the Lettrétage, and the summer festival of the Netzwerk freie Literaturszene Berlin. As an author (under the pseudonym valeska geesdorf), she is a member of the literary group “Haus der unbedachten Wörter.” She studied culture, literature, aesthetics, and philosophy in Frankfurt (Oder), Amsterdam, Berkeley, and Berlin.
