People with limited mobility The Henry Ford Building is wheelchair accessible at all entrances (Garystr. 35, side entrances: Boltzmannstr and Harnackstr.). The Audimax lecture hall is wheelchair accessible from the outside (to the right of Boltzmannstr.). Some lecture halls and the room with information on NC and applications are located on the upper floor. This can be reached by elevator: press 3rd floor, then take the side corridor to the gallery (the door is always open from the inside). There are spaces for wheelchairs in the lecture halls themselves. People with visual impairments Assistance dogs and long canes are permitted at Freie Universität. People with visual impairments and blind people require assistance to walk through the foyer to the lecture halls. Our team is happy to help. You can also contact us in advance so that we can accompany you from the “Freie Universität-Thielplatz” subway station to the Henry Ford Building, for example.
