The internet is the world's largest virtual supermarket: it offers (almost) everything, but nothing is free. Behind every offer lie interests: economic, political, and social. The traveling exhibition "Everything on Offer," conceived by HateAid and neuland & gestalten, looks behind the virtual shelves and asks: Who is actually controlling whom here?

Digital spaces connect people, create visibility, and facilitate everyday life and communication. At the same time, this "everything anytime, anywhere" makes them vulnerable. The downsides range from disinformation and polarization to defamation campaigns and digital violence.

Starting in 2027, the exhibition addresses precisely these ambivalences: the fascination of the digital world as well as its risks for individuals and our democratic public sphere. The Museum for Communication Berlin is presenting selected excerpts in advance.
