A literary chat about Kurt Tucholsky

Kurt Tucholsky (1890–1935) was one of the best-known and most popular authors of the Weimar Republic, writing political essays, humorous poetry, chanson lyrics and short stories.

The chaotic, bourgeois monologues of Herr Wendriner and the insightful chatter of Lottchen have lost none of their wit, his little anecdotes about everyday life are still relevant today, and his political writings are timeless.

Poems, prose texts and anecdotes from the life of this prolific writer.

A multifaceted picture: political fighter, humorist, melancholic.
With live music from the 1920s and 1930s!
