Every Thursday, enthusiasts and lovers of the fine arts gather at the Kulturküche—not, as one might expect, well-rested and relaxed as if on vacation, indulging in a “whim,” but rather, in some cases, mustering the energy to come to the workshop after a busy, exhausting day.
This activity is challenging, yet it appeals to other senses. It thus offers a brief escape into another world.
Graphic designer Pia Szur sets the tasks and themes, and everyone does their best to interpret them through drawing, color, abstraction, and more. The presentation of their work hopes to elicit many reactions from visitors.
