Georg-Herwegh-Chor
The Georg Herwegh Choir was founded in 1996 by parents of the Georg Herwegh Gymnasium at the instigation of music teacher Michael Gerhardt. Initially, the choir supported the performance of Marc-Antoine Charpentier's Te Deum by the school's soloists, choir, and orchestra.
Built by its success, the choir remained together and expanded beyond the school's parent community. Since then, it has regularly participated in school concerts, both independently and in collaboration with the school choir and/or orchestra.
Admission is free - donations are welcome.
