The academy's training philosophy is particularly evident in the concert series Carte blanche - Berlin, listen!. The young musicians present themselves outside of the orchestra as soloists or in an ensemble.
They put together the selection of pieces and the program themselves: a carte blanche in the truest sense of the word.
The special feature of the new concert series Carte blanche - Berlin, listen!: five concerts take place alternately each year in the musical heart of Berlin, in the chamber music hall of the Philharmonie, and five concerts at different locations in Berlin: in Reinickendorf, Pankow, Britz, Köpenick, Spandau.
