Public dress rehearsal for everyone under 30
On 24 January 2026 at 11:00 a.m., the Staatsoper Unter den Linden will offer a special opportunity for everyone under 30 to experience the final rehearsal before the performance up close with its public dress rehearsal.
Under the baton of Christian Thielemann, the programme features Johannes Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem, Op. 45, a work of profound depth and existential power that ranks among the most significant of the 19th century.
During the dress rehearsal, people under 30 can experience the rehearsals of the Staatskapelle Berlin, the Staatsoper choir and soloists such as soprano Nikola Hillebrand and baritone Samuel Hasselhorn at first hand, gaining a rare insight into the musical preparation of a great classical work.
