Outline of a city history

What happens when "great history" meets an urban society? Who in this society makes "history", who benefits from it, suffers from it, comes to terms with it? And how do National Socialist ideology and the practice of rule ultimately manifest themselves in the city and through the city?

In their book Berlin im Nationalsozialismus. Abriss einer Stadtgeschichte (2025), Christoph Kreutzmüller and Bjoern Weigel examine various aspects of the everyday history of the imperial capital in fifteen chapters, focusing on typical public, semi-public and private places.
