The artworks were created in art therapy workshops.
The images are accompanied by texts written by the artists themselves, available to read and listen to, in which they speak for themselves. The information can be accessed via QR codes using a smartphone.
THE EXHIBITION AIMS TO:
- raise awareness, understanding and social recognition for people with mental health conditions and promote an approach free from prejudice
- help affected artists feel better understood by ensuring their works and the stories behind them are seen and experienced by as many people as possible
- highlight the experiences of those affected and demonstrate the resources, inner potential and skills that a person can draw upon in life to aid their recovery
The Kiezkantine is a psychosocial day centre run by PINEL and offers lunch menus at low prices.
