Test drives, hand liners and a fresh start after the winter break
Following the winter break, the new motorcycle season will be celebrated on April 25, 2026, at BMW Motorrad Welt with a Season Opening—the first event of the year to take place in the courtyard and outdoor areas.

The hand-painters from the factory will be on site. They will demonstrate their work live and offer insights into the special craftsmanship involved in applying lines and decals to motorcycles. It’s worth watching—it’s fascinating to see how calm, precision, and experience lead to a result that you’d otherwise only see on finished machines.
And if you’d like, you can also bring your own parts: The hand-liners will line them on-site as requested—first come, first served.
So pack your tank, fenders, or side cases and have a one-of-a-kind piece created just for you.
BMW Motorrad World offers test rides on the latest BMW Motorrad models. For many, this is the first opportunity to get back in the saddle, kick off the season, and get to know the new bikes.
Refreshments will be provided: in the courtyard, there will be grilled treats, as well as coffee and cold drinks at the bistro. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can refuel, take a break, or simply enjoy the time between conversations and test rides.
Children are also welcome. A small program ensures that even the youngest visitors will have a fun-filled day.
