Das Forschungskolloquium widmet sich in diesem Jahr dem Thema ‚A closer look: (Re-)Examining the archaeological heritage of Sudan‘ mit Beiträgen zur Sammlungs- und Museumsarbeit, zur Fernerkundung und zur Neubewertungen von archäologischen Funden und Befunden.

Das Kolloquium wird von der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, der Sudanarchäologischen Gesellschaft zu Berlin (SAG) e.V., dem Ägyptischen Museum und Papyrussammlung (ÄMP-SMB) und dem Deutschen Archäologischen Institut (DAI) ausgerichtet.
Die Tagung findet auf Englisch statt.
Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos. Keine Anmeldung erforderlich.
Alle Vorträge finden im Auditorium der James-Simon-Galerie statt und werden gestreamt.
