Marion Bertram, Lecture
From February to April 1888, Heinrich Schliemann and Rudolf Virchow traveled between Alexandria and Wadi Halfa. Georg Schweinfurth paved the way for them and personally accompanied them in Cairo and the Fayum Basin.
