Did you know that most famous Christmas songs, from "White Christmas" to "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," were written by Jews? Or that Theodor Herzl lit candles on the Christmas tree for his children?

Since the Jewish Festival of Lights, Hanukkah, falls during the Christmas season this year, we invite you to a glittering "Christmas" special. The program includes Hanukkah classics like "Maos Zur," "Jewish" Christmas jingles like "Winter Wonderland," and jazzy evergreens by Jewish-American composers and lyricists like "The Man I Love."

There will also be "Chrismukkah" stories and anecdotes about the evening's songwriters, such as Irvin Berlin and Jonny Marks—and mulled wine and sufganiot at the bar. Julie Wolff (vocals), Jotham Bleiberg (trumpet), Daniel Stawinski (piano), Judith Kessler (narrator).

Free admission

The bar will be open one hour before the performance.
