The artist Corinne Holthuizen-Habermann, trained in architecture at ETH Zurich, has dedicated herself to photographing remarkable people and situations for many years.
In her work, she places great emphasis on participation: both subjects and viewers are equally involved in the moment. This has led to projects such as "Faces," featuring portraits of refugees from Syria and Ukraine, and "People's Places," a photographic exploration of personal favorite spots.
In the exhibition at Epiphanien, Holthuizen-Habermann presents photographs of 28 young adults whom she followed over a period of seven years. The starting point was the end of their school years—a phase of life full of questions, possibilities, and uncertainties. Through photographs and interviews, the artist documents this process of becoming an adult and vividly conveys the spirit of a generation on its journey into the future.
