A musical mosaic

The Steglitz Symphony Orchestra is a growing ensemble of music enthusiasts from various professions. The orchestra was founded in 1996 as the hospital orchestra of the Benjamin Franklin Clinic (now Charité) under the name “Benjamin Franklin Orchestra.”

Since 2023, we have been known as the Steglitz Symphony Orchestra—because we rehearse and often give concerts in Steglitz. We have been independent and self-organized since 2008. We rehearse and perform with professional conductors and give two concerts a year, mostly in churches.

The soloists in our concerts are sometimes members of the orchestra. We perform a varied program ranging from early classical to modern music.

  • Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
