Anniversary program "10 years unveiled. Berlin and its monuments"

Since 2023, the bronze horses known as “Hitler’s Horses” have been on display at the Spandau Citadel. One of the “Striding Horses” (Josef Thorak, 1938), which once stood in the garden of Adolf Hitler’s New Reich Chancellery, is featured in the exhibition.

Learn more about the turbulent history of these objects on this special guided tour: What exactly is “Nazi art”? Where were the horses hidden until 2019? And what does art smuggling across the inner-German border have to do with all of this?
