Actor and musician Jan Josef Liefers and renowned sleep researcher and author Prof. Dr. Ingo Fietze from Charité Berlin combine science and poetry in "SOMNOVERSUM - The Dream Lab" to create an extraordinary stage experiment exploring the secrets of a good night's sleep.
Sometimes we only truly understand life in our sleep.
Between free-flowing conversation and sound, between research and dreams, they—together with the audience—address the big questions: How and why do we sleep? And perhaps even more importantly: Why can't we sometimes? When thoughts race, legs twitch, breath catches, and worries become loud.
The answers are surprising. Because they show: Knowledge only works when it touches us.
Join them on an expedition into the liminal spaces of the night. Experience a unique evening that makes science tangible—for those searching for sleep, for the contemplative, and for everyone who wants to go to bed willingly again and wake up inspired in the morning.
