A Quick Look at the Cosmos – 10 Years of the Berlin Planetarium Foundation

A diverse program of short presentations and stargazing awaits you at the Zeiss Großplanetarium in Prenzlauer Berg and the Archenhold Observatory in Treptower Park.

The program begins at the Archenhold Observatory at 1:00 p.m. and at the Zeiss Grand Planetarium at 1:30 p.m. Entertaining, immersive, and full of fascinating perspectives, these events offer impressive insights into the vastness of the universe at a special anniversary price of 5 euros per event in the planetarium hall.

Tickets for the Archenhold Observatory are available on-site; events at the Zeiss Grand Planetarium can also be booked online in advance. Whether under the glowing planetarium dome or under the open sky:

1:30 PM–12:00 AM: Short programs “Planetary Tour Through the Solar System,” “Stars Over Berlin,” & “Tour Through the Universe” (in the planetarium hall)

1:00–4:00 p.m.: Sun observation—experience our sun live (outdoor area)

1:30–8:00 p.m.: Launching water rockets—higher, faster, farther! (outdoor area)

2:30 PM–12:00 AM: Podcast Lounge – Stories that take you into space (in the Einstein Hall)

5:30–9:45 PM: Guided tour: The Treptow Giant Telescope (Duration: 30 min., max. participants: 20 people | €5)
