Miron Zownir Berlin 1979
URBAN SPREE GALERIE, in collaboration with GALERIE BENE TASCHEN, presents a retrospective of iconic photographs spanning nearly five decades. Zownir’s powerful black-and-white works capture the rebellious yet melancholic spirit of West Berlin up to 1980 and further document the city’s transformation following reunification, with all its architectural ruptures, hedonistic excesses, and social protests.
Accompanying the exhibition, URBAN SPREE BOOKS is publishing the photo book MIRON ZOWNIR BERLIN 1977–2025, featuring a carefully curated selection of his Berlin works.
