Photographed and curated by Berlin-based photographer Sandra Schuck, the Zentrum für bewegte Kunst e.V. will showcase portrait photos of artists from Circus Sonnenstich from May 15 to 29.

The expressive photos were taken in the photographer’s studio as part of the “Mimoto” premiere production and feature full-body and portrait shots in the Mimoto style.
The artists’ own works of art will also be on display.
The exhibition offers a fresh perspective on concepts of participation and inclusion and showcases people with
Down syndrome as strong artistic personalities.
As part of the supporting program, there will be a lecture on May 17 about the Sonnenstich dictionary, in which artistic and general terms from A to Z are redefined by the artists in simple language and in surprising ways. There will also be a guided tour with the Sonnenstich artists on May 24. The closing event concludes with a live concert by Doreen Kutzke, the musical director of the stage shows.
