In the turmoil of the current pre-war period, the swing eccentrics also bring a breath of fresh air into political chansons of the post-war period in an entertaining way.

With Müller's biography in hand, Müller's great-nephew Johannes-Sebastian Strauss draws parallels from 1933/1945 to 2024 and is musically supported by pianist Timo Tietz. So the frippery brothers swing through the occupied West Berlin of the rubble years and also free old political chansons from the dust of time. Two sensible people from today about crazy people from yesterday, with musical works by Franz Grothe/Günter Neumann, Bruno Balz/Heino Gaze as well as Bully Buhlan, Peter Wehle, Jupp Schmitz and of course the King Kols.

The background: The Frillanzbrüder emerged from the jazz & swing chamber orchestra “Long John & his Ballroom Kings” in 2022. Still as a quartet in 2022, the Frirlefanzbrüder brought a homage to the actor and cabaret artist Wolfgang Müller to the stage in December 2022 (on his 100th birthday). Wolfgang Neuss's 100th birthday followed in December 2023. The two frippery brothers have appeared on stage several times as part of the six-day “Legalize Neuss” festival week. Based on Müller's life story, in 2024 everything revolves around the cultural influence of the Americans on West Berliners at the time, which was formative for many generations nationwide.
