Monsieur Pompadour captivates audiences with songs about life and love, sung in four-part harmony and virtuously interpreted in the style of Django Reinhardt, blending jazz, chanson, and vaudeville.

In the summer of 2014, the French bohemian Monsieur Pompadour found himself in Berlin. Among the illustrious circle of his lavish parties were a Belgian singer, a Hungarian violinist, a remarkably taciturn bassist, and a virtuoso guitarist of noble birth. They formed a band and have been captivating audiences ever since with songs about life and love, sung in four-part harmony and virtuously interpreted in the style of Django Reinhardt, blending swing, chanson, and vaudeville.

With Monsieur Pompadour, you want to dance, listen, dream, and marvel. You'll experience an extraordinary band of traveling musicians with the timeless music of the European Songbook in their repertoire.
