illnesses, and neurodiversity.
Founded by Berlin-based artist Noéline la Bouche, the show is a political statement for radical inclusion. In a blend of glamour and authenticity, the stage offers a space for stories that often go unheard—from experiences with ableism to the sexuality of people with disabilities.
Interactive centerpiece: “Sick Bucket” & Open Stage
A central element of the show is direct interaction with the audience. In the “Sick Bucket,” guests can anonymously share their thoughts, questions, or frustrations about the healthcare system, which are presented on stage throughout the evening. Those who want to take it a step further get the opportunity in the “Tell Your Story – Open Stage
” segment, the opportunity to tell their own story in a safe space. “Whether it’s an anonymous message or a personal appearance—the show is meant to provide a space for every voice,” explains la Bouche.
International Guests & Accessibility
The evening will be hosted by Berlin drag icon Alexander Cameltoe. The lineup also features international guests such as English drag queen Ebony Rose Dark and Scottish burlesque artist Magenta Lust, who will share the stage with Berlin-based artists.
To put inclusion into practice, the production relies on a comprehensive accessibility concept that is constantly being expanded:
- Audio description: For the first time, the show will be accompanied by audio description both on-site and via livestream.
- Sensory safety: Colored stickers are available free of charge at the box office. These discreetly signal to the performers when no interaction or physical contact is desired.
- Flexible Seating: In addition to regular seats, alternative seating options in the form of beanbags are available.
- Hygiene & Safety: To protect vulnerable groups, FFP2 masks are required (masks are available free of charge on-site).
