Pitch-black comedy by Alan Ayckbourn
Siblings Hilda and Martin have barely moved into the middle-class Rosenhöhe neighborhood when an unauthorized intruder in their garden, a decapitated garden gnome, an unruly resident, and, last but not least, a nearby social housing project cause unrest.

Since the local police are apparently unable to provide adequate security, the charismatic Martin takes matters into his own hands. Supported by his new neighbors and his energetic sister, he forms a vigilante group that quickly implements draconian surveillance and punitive measures.
But when the neighborhood group seeks the wrong allies for its actions, the situation becomes overwhelming, and events escalate to their tragic yet glorious end.
