What does “well-behaved” actually mean—and who sets the boundaries? In her reading, Claudia Clarin brings together texts that blend biographical experiences with subtle irony and deliberate exaggeration.
The focus is on various forms of limitation: social expectations, cultural influences, and, not least, the limitations of one’s own body. With an eye for the absurdities of everyday life and a clear narrative voice, the evening moves between a reading and cabaret-style exaggeration. And because words sometimes aren’t enough, the evening concludes with a group sing-along.
