Art, Activism, and AI

As AI permeates every sphere of society, humanity stands at a crucial crossroads: Either we surrender our agency in favor of algorithmic convenience, or we consciously use technology as an extension of our human potential.

To bridge the gap between technological power and the deeply human responsibility for art and imagination, we are bringing together three visionary voices:

• Kumi Naidoo is a Bosch Fellow, former executive director of Amnesty International, and former executive director of Greenpeace. He is currently president of the “Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative” and co-founder of the Artivism Foundation

• Dorothea Winter is a philosopher specializing in digital humanism; she earned her Ph.D. from Humboldt University on intentionality and artificial intelligence and now researches and teaches at the Berlin University of the Humanities.

• Max Senges is a visiting professor of “Art of Living & Entrepreneurship” at the Berlin University of the Arts, director of its affiliated Institute for Electronic Business, and head of “Law as Code as Rulemapping.”

Together, they will explore how we can build a humanistic social operating system in which the concept of success shifts from the maximization of financial profit toward self-actualization and a sense of belonging.
