This special tandem tour brings together different perspectives. Bernd Schröder from the Berlin Section of the German Alpine Club and Moritz Roemer, co-curator of the exhibition “The Mountains of Tyrol,” will lead visitors through the exhibition together and discuss their respective approaches to the topics of mountains, mountaineering, and cultural history. The tour will focus in particular on the objects from the Berlin Section’s archive and their history.
The tour is not only about the exhibited objects themselves, but also about the questions, discussions, and decisions that shaped the curatorial process. In this way, the tour offers a behind-the-scenes look and invites visitors to discover the exhibition from different perspectives.
