How does life go on after the occupiers have withdrawn? For three years, SPLITTERS OF LIGHT – Уламки Світла follows five survivors in Bucha. The turmoil of the disaster and a war still raging across the country shatter their plans and dreams. They wish for nothing more than to rebuild their pre-war lives. Bearing the burden of trauma, they seem to face seemingly insurmountable challenges. Yet they show love, helpfulness, and solidarity.
Then wounds within society also become visible. How does communal life change under the conditions of an imposed war?
